At Skill4Life Driver Training, your safety, comfort, and progress are my top priorities. As a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor, I am committed to maintaining the highest professional standards at all times.
1. Respect & Professional Boundaries
- All pupils are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
- Professional boundaries are always maintained — lessons remain focused on safe driving skills and pupil progress.
- I will never act in a way that could be considered inappropriate or unprofessional.
2. Communication
- Lesson arrangements are managed through WhatsApp, phone, or text for ease of contact.
- Messages are strictly lesson-related.
- Parents are welcome to be included in communications if they prefer.
3. Jewellery & Clothing
- For safety, pupils are asked to remove unnecessary jewellery and wear suitable clothing/footwear.
- This applies to all pupils equally, to prevent interference with seatbelts, steering, and vehicle controls.
4. Mobile Phones
- Pupils are asked to switch their phone to silent or off during lessons.
- Pupils are offered the option of placing their phone in the glove box for safekeeping, rather than leaving it in a pocket, on the seat, or in a door pocket, which may be unsafe.
- This policy is for safety only and applies to every pupil.
5. Safeguarding
- Lessons are conducted in a safe, supportive environment.
- Any safeguarding concerns will be documented and, where necessary, reported to DVSA in line with professional standards.
- Parents are welcome to observe lessons by prior arrangement if this helps the pupil feel more comfortable.
6. Feedback & Transparency
- Constructive feedback is always provided to help pupils progress.
- Parents are welcome to request updates on their child’s progress at any time.
