Skill4Life Driver Training operates in full accordance with the DVSA-approved ADI Code of Practice, ensuring transparency, professionalism, and integrity in all dealings with pupils.

🧭 1. 

Personal Conduct

• Maintain professional behaviour at all times — courteous, honest, and respectful.
• Never discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, gender, disability, or orientation.
• Avoid any behaviour that could bring the profession into disrepute.
• Maintain appropriate personal hygiene, appearance, and dress standards.

Business Dealings

• Clearly explain terms of business before instruction begins (rates, cancellation policy, lesson duration, etc.).
• Provide accurate information about services — no false or misleading claims.
• Handle all money and records responsibly and transparently.
• Keep accurate appointment and financial records.

📘 3. 

Driving Instruction

• Provide instruction in a calm, supportive, and patient manner.
• Avoid any activity that could distract or endanger while teaching.
• Tailor instruction to suit the individual’s ability, experience, and learning style.
• Use a properly maintained and insured vehicle suitable for instruction.

📄 4. 

Advertising

• All advertising must be clear, truthful, and not misleading.
• Do not claim guaranteed passes or DVSA endorsement.
• Display any association logos (e.g., DIA, DVSA, or scheme membership) accurately and with permission.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

• Keep professional knowledge up to date — rules, best practice, and DVSA standards evolve.
• Engage in periodic training or peer review.
• Reflect on feedback and test outcomes to improve teaching quality.

🧾 6. 

Complaints and Discipline

• Deal promptly and professionally with any complaints.
• Cooperate fully with the DVSA or professional associations during investigations.
• Respect pupil confidentiality at all times.
